Your app looks ready. What is left before launch?

A working demo is a strong start. A release also needs a reproducible build, real services, tested user journeys and the information the stores need to review it. Here is how to turn an unfinished app or AI-built prototype into a concrete launch plan.
First, prove that the app can be built
Check repository access, dependency versions, environment setup and ownership of signing and developer accounts. Produce an installable build from the documented project, not only from one developer's laptop.
Keep secrets out of the repository and provide access through the appropriate account roles. A rescue assessment should identify what can be preserved before proposing a rewrite.
Test the complete journey, not just the screens
Start with the action the product exists to support: booking, purchasing, sharing a document or completing a task. Verify it with the actual backend, permissions and production-like data.
Check failed payments, expired sessions, empty states, slow connections and repeated actions. For an AI-built prototype, also inspect server-side validation, authorization and where credentials are stored. Generated code is not automatically unsafe or production-ready; it needs the same evidence as other code.
Prepare the store submission
Confirm account verification, signing, app identifiers, screenshots, descriptions, support details and reviewer access. Make sure the privacy declarations match the data used by the app and its SDKs.
Apple reviews submissions against its App Review Guidelines. Google Play has testing requirements for personal developer accounts created after November 13, 2023: the current closed-test requirement is at least 12 opted-in testers for 14 continuous days before applying for production access. This is not a guarantee of approval after 14 days.
Store review is an external step. Separate the delivery team's target from the date a store approves or makes the app available.
Prepare the production services
Identify the backend, database, files, paid APIs and scheduled jobs the app needs. Verify environment-specific endpoints so a release does not accidentally use a test service.
Define backups, monitoring, error reporting and a recovery procedure appropriate to the product. Decide who reviews alerts and who can authorize a rollback.
Publish in a controlled way and check the key journey again after release. A successful upload does not prove that users can complete the task.
What to send for an app rescue assessment
Send a brief description of the app, its current stage, the blocker and the outcome you want first. A short demo or screenshots help; do not send passwords or private keys through a contact form.
We can then agree secure access and an initial delivery. Examples include restoring a reliable build, connecting one incomplete flow or preparing a store-ready candidate. These are possible scopes, not promises made before inspecting the app.
Tg Apps develops apps and backend services and can continue the work month to month. We align a first milestone under contract and NDA, with no upfront payment and the First Milestone Guarantee.
